Ali'i Kai Lures Chartreuse Mahi Blue Back Large Gallo 14" 7.8oz
The Gallo is a brand new lure in late 2026 that was a collaboration between lure maker Shawn Rotella and our very own Capt. Chris Donato. It is a slanted scoop faced lure with pretty much a tube faced body - Very little taper to the lure head except for a slight taper at the nose. Named after the Guatemalan beer "Gallo". These have been incredibly successful in its prototype stage in both Guatemala with the smaller Billfish bite as well as Cape Verde where it caught a really nice Blue Marlin.
More info coming soon from both Chris and Shawn on these lures.
Here's a little clip of Shawn Rotella introducing the Gallo on Instagram.
This is the Large 14" skirt saddle sized version of the Gallo.
