Niiyama Lures - Flying Fish

The Niiyama Lures Flying Fish is a brand new product just released in June 2020. This is an extremely versatile lure that an be fished using multiple techniques including rigged as a standalone lure, used as a bird with a lure trailer, or off a kite for some excellent kite fishing action. The wings are made out of high strength silicone to enhance durability. 

For trolling as a rigged lure, the recommendation is to use a single hook rig, especially for Marlin from the riggers. For large tuna, throw it on the stinger single hook rigged. Standard BOM skirts work great with them because of the weight of the wings and allows the lure to swim very naturally. 

If you enjoy fishing with birds, this is an excellent bird teaser. Trail in behind it a 7" Malolo and you got an excellent pair.

Kite fishing is a whole different animal, but pulling the Flying Fish off a kite would work fantastic on yellowfin/bigeyes and bluefin tuna. That includes areas like Mexico/Cabo, the Mid Atlantic, and the Carolinas.
