"Growing up on the eastern shore of Maryland in Ocean City, I was fortunate my family and I lived on the water, so boating and fishing became my passion at an early age. I was taken offshore fishing when I was 8 years old and at that point I believe saltwater stared to run through my veins. I started my first job on a sport fishing boat in 1995 and my passion for fishing and the fishing industry is just as strong today as it was when I was 8 years old going offshore for the first time. I have just turned 45 and I have been in the sport fishing industry for 29 years. I started out in the cockpit and was there for 11 years then I took the climb up the ladder and took my passion to the bridge behind the helm for last 18 years now.
"I’m a very competitive fisherman. I always fish every day like it’s going to be my last day. My career team winnings in the last 29 years as a professional fisherman are over $4,300,000. I live and breathe sport fishing. For me it’s not only a lifestyle, but also it’s how I put food on the table for my beautiful family. I have been the captain of the RoShamBo for the last 3 1/2 years. The RoShamBo is a 2020 65ft Custom Carolina; the hull was built by Terry Guthrie, then finished by Bluewater Yacht Yard in Wanchese, North Carolina. This Roshambo is a true Battlewagon. The boat has every upgrade possible, it is equipped with all Garmin electronics, plus the Furuno Omni-Sonar. It also contains two Seakeepers. The Roshambo is fully loaded and is a true fishing machine.
"On the Roshambo we typically run about 120-170 charters a year between Ocean City Md and Oregon Inlet Nc. We also fish about 8 to 10 fishing tournaments a year. We are always chasing the next biggest bite from Marlins, Tunas, Mahi, Wahoo, Swordfish and even deep dropping for Tile Fish."
