Ali'i Kai Lures - Torta

The Ali'i Kai Torta is a brand new Teaser collaborated between our very own Chris Donato & lure maker Shawn Rotella. These are massive scoop faced lures with some wide hips that give this killer teaser a lot of shake and bake. 

Here is Shawn Rotella's description of the Torta:

“The Torta”. A new 20” teaser I built at the request of Chris Donato & GZ Lures. The concept is to have an extremely hard wiggle, so I’ve added the big scoop face. I didn’t want the lure to tumble over itself down sea, so I added a huge reverse taper. Much like the old “door knob” effect, it will have a release of pressure at the back of the main taper and water pressure will accelerate slightly forward from the back Eddie it creates. A heavy keel weight in the chin also helps her stay in the pocket consistently. Im not gonna lie here, the material inside this lure isn’t cheap. From a whole sheet of shell to the most expensive color shifting pigment on the market all into over 40oz of resin makes her a bit of high end girl for your average torta!!”
