Slotting in at 6th in our 2022 Top Seller's list is the MOYES LURES Medium J-Boy.
Moyes Lures were some of the first baits we ever carried direct back in our early days about 6 years ago before "gzlures.com" was a thing. Our only selling platform was Facebook and Ebay at that time (and a little bit of Hulltruth), and we were a one man operation.

As I was discovering a lot of new brands from purchasing fishermen's collections, Moyes Lures caught my attention. At that time, Andy was doing a lot more "custom" work with a lot of different eye styles, my personal favorite being the taxidermy eyes, as well as his custom oil slick work in a variety of colors that was unique to his baits. I fell in love with them.
Long story short, I was put in a position where if GZ was going to continue, it was going to have to be by going direct to the source. Andy Moyes was one of the first guys I reached out to, and to my surprise I was carrying them soon after.
Once I began posting them on Facebook, the GZ Facebook site immediately blew up. Every batch I received was snatched up within days. Without the decision to roll with Moyes Lures, I'm not sure where we would be.

The Medium J-Boy has easily been our top selling Moyes Lures bait since we began selling them. It was named after Andy's late friend Josh Brown and according to Andy is also his most popular lure, responsible for a ridiculous amount of catches worldwide. It was one of the first lures Andy produced using his new processes, and it's always been a staple in his personal spread.
Andy's perhaps most represented market happens to be one of the hottest Marlin fishing spots in the world, pretty much engulfing the Azores and Cape Verde fleets. One of those Captains is our Pro Captain Marty Bates who runs this lure on his short rigger and had this to say about the J-Boy. "Say no more - Awesome running lure. Endless bubble trails and plenty of smoke. A must have in your stable."
