Raden Lures

Raden Lures are handmade by lure Japanese lure maker Takashi Hatanaka out of Aikawa in the Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan. The level of craftmanship on his lures is absolutely out of this world, having its own distinct look while implementing real shell insert work in unique ways. Many of his lures use real Mother of Pearl and Abalone shell, but you can feel the shell work while touching the surface of his lures with the different shell impressions all over the insert. These are literal works of art. From the Raden Lures website: "The abalone is stuck on the surface. If it soaks in sea water, it will shine beautifully."

The design of his lures is also unique with a variety of head shapes including long nose bullets, cedar plugs, various sizes of plungers and reverse tapered plungers, cupped face lures, and more.
