**This lure is a part of what is known as Gary Eoff's "Jewelry Bait" or "Deluxe Series" of lures - These are all made with real red abalone shell, cut to perfection by Gary Eoff in Marlin Magic's well-known shapes. Gary Eoff is known for his shell work including in jewelry pieces that he built with decades of experience. These are absolutely gorgeous and easily some of the best real shell work you will find in a handmade fishing lure.**

The Marlin Magic Captain's Choice has built quite the reputation over the years. It is a large pear shaped head with 14" sized skirt saddles. This is one of the largest heads from the "Pear Series" of baits. Has a longer more straight taper before it tapers off a bit more at the nose of the bait and an extremely deep "pear" shaped reverse taper right near the skirt saddles. Excellent from the Corners or Short Rigger positions.
