Koya/Grander Marlin Tackle Collab Silver Starburst Large Poi Dog + D-Flap Teaser Combo
This is a long time coming, but we finally have the initial release of our Grander Marlin Tackle D-Flap/Koya Lures Large Poi Dog collaboration that we have been teasing for quite some time. All of these Large Poi Dogs by Eric Koyanagi have a single skirt saddle with one of our Grander Marlin Tackle "Pucks" built into the lure to allow for easy attachment of our custom Donato Flaps.
You can run these with or without the weighted zinc at the bottom of the flap, but this will come with the zinc pre-attached. Just remove the zinc if desired to change the action of the lure.
Koya Lures Large Poi Dog
The Koya Lures Large Poi Dog is a beast of a plunger. A few Granders have been caught on these heads as well as countless tournament winners. Large and bulky plunger with a long steady taper towards the slanted nose. A few guys use these as teasers because of their large size and weight, but we'd recommend fishing it rigged in either corner position - Our lead GZ Pro Capt. Chris Donato of Grander Marlin Sportfishing likes this lures on the long corner. 16" skirt saddle size. This is a top of the line tournament grade plunger - Very few lures produce as many huge Marlin out there than this one.

Grander Marlin Tackle Baby Donato Flap
From the mind of GZ's own Capt. Chris Donato & Grander Marlin Sportfishing comes a new line-up of Tackle products - Grander Marlin Tackle.
The first product offerings include a new Flap Teaser idea which we call the "Donato Flap" with a Tuna design. The "Donato Flap" has a tongue where the nose of the Tuna flap would be that gets inserted inside either one of our D-Flap Teaser heads or one of our "Pucks" that can be adhered to any lure you desire to run as a teaser.
Baby D-Flap Size: 10.25"
From Chris on the "Kona Strong Flap"
"This is a generic tuna looking decoy. Alot of companies have made these over the years starting with the mudflap craze from the MM FLAPS. What I did here was I was sick of losing flaps to big fish because of the grommet position and the wear and tear. I wanted a flap that was strong and had movement and balance. The tail is designed to have a bit more splash and movement with the yellowfin finlets, and there is a grommet mid-body to add a zinc or weight if you want this flap to run flat all the time. It also can be run through a daisy chain without a tail grommet that also pulls out. This is meant to run just on the surface."
