**This lure is very old and in used condition - Some surface scratches and some bill marks along the surface but no chips or cracks. See photos for more details.**
Bob Schneider Lures were made out of West Palm Beach, Florida, and are no longer produced. They were one of the most sought after lures back in the day outside the Hawaiian Islands and are very difficult to find.
The Yap has a legacy of its own for Marlin fishing. The large size has a very slight reverse taper with a very subtle forward taper. The nose has a small diameter due to its long slender head shape. Much of the uniqueness of these lures has to do with the offset tube which provides different action compared to traditional plunger shapes. Yaps come both with rattles and without - This is the standard version without the rattle.
This particular head has an ice blue rainbow-iridescent scaled wrap covering the insert with a transparent blue back. The nose is more rounded around the edge than the typical Yap.
