Use these as standard flaps behind dredges or as standalone teasers as you would typically.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen there is the 2 new Head\/Flap combo designs, a brand new one-of-a-kind product (patent pending). Alot of companies have made these over the years starting with the mudflap craze from the MM FLAPS. What I did here was I was sick of losing flaps to big fish because of the grommet position and the wear and tear. I wanted a flap that was strong and had movement and balance. The tail is designed to have a bit more splash and movement with the yellowfin finlets, and there is a grommet mid-body to add a zinc or weight if you want this flap to run flat all the time. It also can be run through a daisy chain without a tail grommet that also pulls out. The Benchmark Rod is the heaviest of them and a bit of a throw back to the old-school style  “stump pullers.” These may be too stiff for most people and are only really required if you're in an area where you encounter stubborn fish over 700 lbs+ or you like to use heavy drag consistently, so keep in mind the Benchmark Rod is a super, super stiff rod that barely bends until you have about 30 lbs of pressure on it.  I love them, but that style isn’t for everyone. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cspan\u003eThe regular Grander Marlin Tackle Heavy Chair Rod will be best suited for most heavy tackle applications.
